I was born and raised in Burbank, California and fell in love with music early on.
My sister and I used to put on concerts in the backyard and I always made sure the concerts featured me on a few solos!
I went on to be involved in several High School musicals and was also in the Madrigal choir my senior year. I have also sung in many church choirs.
I met my wonderful Hubby in 2001, he worked for IKEA and I became employed there soon after we started dating.
We moved to the Northwest in 2007 to open up the IKEA Portland store. I currently work as the store's Inventory Specialist.
We live in the Salmon Creek area with our sweet calico cat Maggie.
As a newcomer to the Northwest, my Husband decided to look for an opportunity to become involved in an activity he enjoyed as a way to meet new people.
He ended up volunteering with the Coast Guard Auxiliary right away.
I felt I needed to find something that I could call my own to be involved in as well and that's when I did an internet search for local choirs and found TOC.
I am now enjoying my 5th season with the choir as a first alto and I look forward to many more.
When I'm not singing my heart out, I enjoy kayaking, collecting Raggedy Ann dolls and memorabilia, crafting, and devouring books on my Kindle.
